There’s nothing like the rain clearing up right on time for an outdoor wedding, especially in August in Michigan, and even more especially for a backyard wedding. I’m not even lying when I say that the rain stopped 10 minutes before Erin and Matt’s ceremony was scheduled to start! It was amazing seeing all their friends and family helping to quickly set up the chairs and get everything ready for the bride and groom.
Everything about this wedding was rustic, charming and intimate. Erin’s bouquet was simple yet stunning. All of the bridesmaids wore jewelry that was handmade by the bride. The ceremony took place under a wooden arch in the backyard of their beautiful farmhouse. We also took all of their bridal party photos in their backyard, while their adorable pug ran around (and of course made it into several photos!) There was homemade food and drinks, lawn games, and a photo booth, where guests could take a Polaroid and then use it to make their own scrapbook page for the newlyweds.
We loved being a part of your day, Erin and Matt. Thank you and congratulations!
